Family policies

What families ask us before camp starts.

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

What to wear and bring

Send clothes your camper can move in, closed-toe shoes for rehearsal, a filled water bottle and a lunch in a cold pack. A light sweater helps, since the hall stays cool. Everything carries your camper's first name, and costume pieces from home are for us to look at before Friday.

Drop-off and pickup

An adult on your list signs your camper in and out at the side door of the hall. We ask for ID until we know you. Tell us ahead of time when someone new is coming, and families who stay for the showcase still sign their camper out at the door.

When to keep your child home

A camper with a fever, vomiting or a contagious illness stays home and returns after a full day of being well. If a camper feels ill at camp, we call you and a counselor stays with them until you arrive.

Meals, snacks and allergies

Families send lunch in a cold pack, and camp serves a morning snack. Tell us about allergies at registration, and we ask what we need privately once you enroll.

Closures for weather and holidays

Camp runs on rainy days, because rehearsal is indoors. If weather changes pickup or the showcase, we text families before camp starts, and again if the plan changes during the day.

Screens and phones

Phones and tablets stay home. A camper who needs to reach you can use the office phone, and we call you if we need you. At the showcase, guests may take photos of their own camper, and we ask them not to post photos of other children.
